Costa Rica - Macaws, Condo & Coco Beach

These are the first 2 days in Costa Rica - day 1 we arrived and drove from San Jose to Playas del Coco (4-4.5 hrs, took us almost 6 due to an accident that had the PanAm Hwy down to 1 lane). We were entertained by our wonderful driver, Eduardo and by some beautiful Macaws along the way. The drive was great until the accident and then sunset, by then everyone was tired and with no scenery to look at we were anxious to arrive at our condos.

We rented to condos a block from the beach, ours was family owned and very cozy. The kids loved the pool (for 8 units so quite private).

The other pictures are of our first 2 days on the beach in Coco - the kids loved it, Katie the water and Liam the sand! My favorite is the reflection of Katie & Bryan in the wet sand - I am amazed that I accomplished this shot as I had little faith in myself
