Crystal & Justin's Wedding

My brother married his beautiful wife on November 7, the new Crystal Proctor (so weird to see that name and someone else's picture next to it)! I had the privilege (or curse?) of being their photographer. It really was an honour that they put their trust in me to take photographs of their special day. It was stressful and I am so thankful that my brother-in-law helped with the indoor photos and the family photos that I was in (I don't have any of his photos at this time). I don't feel that I managed to get THE perfect photo for them but there are some keepers in what I took. The lighting was a challenge for this amateur! Here is a small sampling of the hundreds of pics...

Unfortunately the portrait and family pictures did not go as well as I would have liked due to very high, cold winds. Not being a professional photographer it takes me a little longer to set up shots and setting on my camera and due to all the rushing around trying to get the photos done as quickly as possible - outside as there was NO place inside to take photos - my settings were off and I missed some important things - like glare on glasses and sunglasses on heads when they shouldn't have been. The wind also added other challenges, like blowing hair in faces and skirts and jackets open. It certainly was an experience for me as a photographer! I think they got a few beautiful photos to work with, but certainly not as many as I would have liked to give them.
