This week has been crazy as we tear our house apart to lay hard wood and tile, create a door/walk through to the basement suite & paint, paint, paint. I think I have put about 100 coats of paint on the walls, well it feels that way anyhow, and still lots more to go.



Katie has been wonderful throughout - a good little supervisor. She has been in her jumper, playing in her playpen and sitting in her high chair. It hink she is happy that we now have the basement where she can finally roll around at will. It will be really great for her to have more space to play in.



It's been hectic but fun and really nice to see the progress. I must say, and my Mom will laugh at this, but it is very rewarding to see all your hard work result in something. (Growing up I always said I would never do renos, I'd hire someone else as it would be faster and easier).
