This past week has been CRAZY busy! I have no new pictures of Katie to post as I haven't picked up the camera in days, when I did today BOTH sets of batteries were dead.



The house renos continue, the hardwood is in andmost of the tile done. The paint that had to be done before today is, although there are a lot of touch ups to do after the boys laid the hardwood - they weren't exactly nice to the newly painted walls! What do they care though when they don't have to clean them up.



We managed to make it to the pool one evening for a swim in play in the wave pool - that was a hit. Some good fmaily fun and time away form our crazy house. It is sure nice to have the basement space now though - Katie's toys are no longer breeding in the living room and she has room to roll around at will.



Mom flew on from Vancouver, enroute to home, on Thurs night only to find she ad to babysit Katie all day Fri and most of Sat before getting on the plane to continue home Sat afternoon. I got called to a birth on Fri morning that kept me away until midafternoon Sat. It was long & i didn't really get to see Mom but what you I say - she had lots of Grandma time & isn't that really what the visits are for anyhow?? (the daughter doesn't really count anymore:)



The weather was not so nice last week, good reno weather, and now it has cleared and warmed up again. So today Katie & I were out in the garden and to the park. We have to relax while we can during the day time as the evenings will remain full of reno work for weeks to come I am sure!



I've attached a few older photos from our baby group picnic 2 weeks ago. we'll miss baby group tomorrow as Katie's boyfriend is coming to visit from BC - the batteries are charging so that we are sure not to miss that!!!
