Another month has passed, spring has sprung and so have I. I am on the move - not quite crawling yet but on the move none the less. I can squirm, scoot, and pull myself all over the place now. Not to mention roll - finally!! Once I figured it out I got the hang of it really quick. Now diaper changing is LOTS of fun, or Momma might say very frustrating:) And I can sit. It has been a busy month learning all this new stuff. It has tired me out so I am sleeping better during the day - 3 regular naps. Night time is the same as ever - 12 hrs - 7pm - 7am. Oh and by the way I have not one but TWO teeth - front bottom. Momma says I was really good with the teething, at least comparatively speaking to some of my friends. The biggest milestone news - I can WAVE ("hi" and "bye"), and I reach for people to pick me up and give me hugs - especially Daddy when he gets home from work.
We had our first Mother's day and I bought Mommy some roses, two books to read to me and a nice shawl to curl up in while she is reading - to me:) I let Mommy sleep in, brought her some tea in bed and then took her out for brunch. It was a great day - see the picture - we make a pretty nice family I think.
The weather has been beautiful and we have been very busy at the playground, going for walks, gardening, and even my first ride in a boat - don't I look snassy in my life jacket. (Daddy thinks I look like Sponge Bob in it). I liked the boat - it'll be great fun when we go home to NFLD in July.
Taking pictures with my bear was hard - I did not want to stay still - no time for that when I am awake, there is too much to explore. AS always Mama is loving her days with me and is just trying to focus on all the fun the spring & summer will bring and not too much on the fall when she has to go back to work. But I am so busy & fun that it makes the days pass by sooo fast, sometimes Momma gets a little sad.
