Happy New Year!

Happy 2012!

These are picture from the the last week of December and the first week of January. We enjoyed the extended vacation time after new years, it was much more relaxing. However more difficult to get back into the swing of things this week. Bryan & I enjoyed being out sans children for New Year's , we went to the local pub with Dave and Bev, enjoyed dinner and a live band, while the kidlets partied it up at home with Grandma. I think they made it to Ontario's new year.

 These are our "barn cats" - Slick is the black boy, and Izzy is Liam's best buddy, the only animal that he can do Anything to! It is hard to say no to her coming in, and then we can't leave Slick out by himself. The are the friendliest cats, but are supposed to be outdoors, hunting mice!

 Trying to crawl - she was practicing this all Christmas holidays. More to come on her 6mth update.

Loving the owl that big sister gave her for Christmas

They have family skate at the local rink every Friday evening from 5:30 - 6:30. Our fall was so busy we couldn't get there, but now that things have slowed down it is our Friday night activity. The kids, despite feeling unwell from colds and vaccinations, had a blast and can't wait til this week. Katie is getting so good at skating, she spent most of her time pulling Rachel around. Liam likes the skate-mate, but when he lets go he is getting good too. Hockey next year for both of them I think.

 We took advantage of the beautiful weather and trimmed trees out in the veggie garden, but also enjoyed some lazy days. Rachel got some quality time in watching football with Daddy:)

 And tried to give him a nose job, which she thought was quite funny!
