Thanksgiving

We were invited to have Thanksgiving dinner with out neighbours, the Thurbers and their family. It was a lovely, side splitting evening of fun and laughs, despite 3 of the 4 of us being under the weather. Haven't had so much fun at dinner in a long time. The next day we killed our own turkey...this was a lesson in the "Circle of Life" for the kids, Katie was chomping at the bit to watch Daddy kill the turkey.

A preview of the turkey butchering session.

A dog's life! Katie made Oakley cozy for his afternoon nap
