Here are some pics of Liam at 18 (and a half) months.
A little update, the latest round of testing came up with no infectious cause for his diarreah, which leaves dietary or inflammatory causes. Our family doc has sent off a GI referral, which will likely take months, and in the mean time we start to systematically remove foods that may cause issues from his diet. First up Lactose, no milk, cheese, yogart or any of the other things he will actually eat (his diet of choice is very limited). In 7-10 days we remove gluten - no wheat, rye, oats or barley. Thank goodness he can at least continue with rice. Then veggies, fruit and lastly red meat. Poor dude. We will follow-up with out GP after his surgery, so in about 3 weeks, where I am sure we will have lots of questions. Right how we are exploring milk "alternatives" - soy, rice and almond milks. I am searching for recipes and ways to maintain his diet. It will be an adventure I am sure.
And then sliding down!
