Liam started climbing out of his playpen about a month ago while I was working in the yard, halting all work in the front yard when he is awake. This past weekend when we were camping he climbed out of his playpen each time it was time to go to sleep. When we got home from camping we put him in his crib for a nap, he slept fine. When he woke up he cried for a few minutes, nothing unusual, then was quiet so we didn't rush to get him. When we got there 15 minutes later and opened the door there he was in the middle of his room. So now we are done with the crib! His Big Boy Bed has been set up since we moved in. At bed time we asked him where he wanted to sleep and eh definatively pointed to his bed, twice. So off to sleep he went in his big boy bed, very proud of himself, and slept all night with no issues. Today he napped there no problems. We moved it out from under the window and took down the crib, so it is official he is now a BIG BOY:( It seems he has changed so much in the last couple weeks, and it is exciting and sad. He is now feeding himself 90% of the time, sitting at the table, helping himself to food in the pantry, trying to dress himself. The next step is potty training - I don't think that will be for a while, however it won't come soon enough for me!
