New House - Bedrooms

Some photos of the new house. There are many things I want to do in the house, firstly painting, but with all we have to do outside it will have to wait until the fall. It is more challenging that I had thought to figure out where to put "things" in the new house, I didn't realize how "tailored" much of our decor was to the old house. I did get the kids rooms painted and put together (mostly) during the snowy spring weather we had. Our room was freshly painted and I was happy enough with the color so we have left that be.
Katie's new room - she got to chose colors - and of course wanted pink & purple. All her bedding and decor from her old room carried over to this one, which was the idea when we picked it all out, she can grow with it. She loves her new room, and I must say it is rather a fun place to be.

Her own little desk and play area - what a lucky little girlie.

Our fav part of her room - the purple butterfly wall:) Please don't mind the tacky box spring, I need to get a bedskirt - hehe.

Can you find the "real" animal in the picture (hint: look under the child). Notice Oakley followed me arounf as I took pictures.

Liam's room is all painted but is in transition from baby to little boy room, needing some new decor and finishing touches, and changing some furniture around from other rooms as his bed is a light wood. We will likely move him to the bed in the fall as the crib is convienent for containing him after naps with all the time we spend outside.

Grandma made him beautiful drapes during her whirlwind Mother's Day visit - thank you! He loves to play on his big boy bed.

The master bedroom - again "in progress" as Bryan is going to build some bedside tables and a headboard and we are exchanging one of our dressers for Liam's.

Our bathroom is interesting with the toilet and shower in a separate room but the double sinks in the actual bedroom. I have many plans in my head for this space (someday).
