Cookie Party

For several reasons I was unable to participate in the cookie exchange I have taken part in over the last couple of years, so instead I got together with some great friends for an evening of baking, drinking wine and visiting. We started the evening at the local pub for wings and drinks and then moved to our house as we have 2 ovens, to bake our sweets. We had a ton of fun and got some delicious treats (despite some misadventures along the way). Katie enjoyed helping out and Bryan had a stomach ache by the end of the night from all his "quality assurance" testing! We hope to make this a yearly tradition. Thanks for the great evening ladies!!!

Our finished treats - Butter Tarts, 2 kinds of short bread, mice cookies and bird's nests. A great start to our Christmas baking. Great Job Ladies!!
