3 months old!!!

Happy Spring! Well somedays anyway. We have had dribs and drabs of spring here, with more snow and cold in between, but we've managed to get outside in the backyard and to the park for a picnic. And of course May means Liam is 3 months old now!!
He had a check-up with Dr. Faul last Monday and weighs in at 12.5lbs and 24" long. He is getting some rolls on his legs now and his cheeks are chubby chubby too. He is cooing and laughing. He has quite a serious little personality, but is happy. Sleep is still great, with the 3 month mark he has hit a growth spurt and is waking every 2nd night or so to feed. Mommy and Daddy went out for dinner on Saturday night and he ate 2 bottles for Grandma before bed!! I left 4.5 oz and Grandma had to thaw out another 4 oz and he drank almost all of that - no wonder he is a chunky monkey.
As for Mommy & Daddy we thoroughly enjoyed our evening out - dinner was delicious and even better paired with a nice glass of wine. We ended off dinner with a shopping trip for new sneakers for Daddy and a new bathing suit for Mommy (preping for vacation) - very romantic - haha!!

The kids had a great visit with Grandma this weekend, she delivered their summer wardrobes for them and with the nice weather they got to test drive a couple outfits (Mom is our designated shopper with all her travel in the states - it is always a surprise to see what I've spent my money on). We took Grandma out to see a lot that we are considering buying to build on - 4 acres SW of Okotoks. And we spent some time visiting with Crystal and Justin, discussing and planning their wedding - yes they are getting MARRIED, and our family trip to Costa Rica in March!! It was super hard to see Mom go, we won't likely see her again until July when we go to TO. Katie said all the way home from the airport "Grandma no go to work" (Mom flew to Winnipeg to work there this week).

(Special thanks to Sarah for Liam's cute little outfit for his 3 month pictures).

This weekend coming we are off to Thomas at Heritage Park, and then to Kelowna, BC for a week on the lake and by the pool over the long weekend, so I am sure there will be some cute pictures to come.

I can't believe Liam is 3 months old already. Love his sassy hat!
