Liam Curtis Mouland...

He is finally here...our newest journey has begun.
My water broke Monday Feb 2 at about 10:10pm, we got the pool ready and had a bite to
eat and went to catch a couple zzzz's. I woke up at 2:30, starving and needing to move, called our wonderful midwife at 3:00, after a bowl of oatmeal. Then called out fabulous doulas, Nicola and Helen. By the time they arrived I was in good labour, in the pool. At 5:00am I started to push and he was born at 5:03!! Caught by Mommy herself:) It was an amazing, natural, challenging and empowering journey. Mentally it was more difficult than Katie's birth, after losing Gabbi there was a real rollercoaster of thoughts, fears and emotions to ride, but it was so worth it.
Katie slept through to delivery and Bryan brought her down in time to help him cut the umbilical cord. She was so proud!
