With so much focus on Liam I thought we'd give a little update on Katie. She is her happy go lucky, energetic self, revelling in her role as a big sister. We are trying to maintain the activites that she is used to and give her time with us alone. She did miss her activities last week (arts & crafts & story time at the library) but we are committed to her attending this week. She got some time in the pool though and made some muffins with mommy, puzzles and painting. She is adjusting quite well.
Swimming on her own - she can do the whole pool without any help. That is a pool noodle tied around her. We need to get her some arm floaties. She is awfully proud of her abilities and really has become quite a little fish!
Hanging with Franky
Skating with Daddy - this was actually Monday last week - just a couple hours before my water broke. Her first time "out on the pond". She had a ball & really tried hard to stand on her own.
I think this was her favorite part - Bryan spinning her around the ice on the sled - lucky we put the helmet on her as Daddy sent her for a couple spills!
