Mouland Family: A Merry (Busy) Christmas Day!!

Christmas Day was VERY busy for us as I had to work. Luckily Katie didn't wake up until after I left for work as it would have been very hard for me to leave had she been up. When she woke she ran into our room and asked Daddy "Did Santa come?" - she understood more then we thought she would! Work was quiet so I was able to bring my pager home around 9:30 and open some presents. It was overwhelming for Katie so we opened stockings and Santa presents, Bryan & I opened our couple. Santa brought Katie a new sled, a stroller for her dolls and an apron & chef's hat to help Mommy bake. Then it was off to Uncle Justin & Auntie Crystal's for a yummy yummy brunch! At 12 I went back to work, which remained quiet, and was able to leave at 3pm for dinner.

This was our year to have dinner with the Mouland clan, so as per tradition, Auntie Murlene & Grammy Mo cooked dinner. Bryan forgot to bring the camera - he only needed the child & the camera - at least he remembered the child!

Stuffed to the gills we returned home to finish opening gifts. From Mommy & Daddy Katie received, in hard cover, the original 7 Curious George stories & books on CD, and a Thomas the Train set - both of which have been a hit! Uncle Justin & Crystal dropped by to exchagne gifts, then it was bed time! I must say it was an enjoyable day but I was glad when bed time came & I wasn't far behind Katie (I had to work the 26th too). Thanks to all for the yummy food, great company and hospitality.
