Big Girl Room

Katie has moved into her big girl room this past week. The inital transition was painless and quick - we put her in bed and she played for a few minutes - as she normally would in her crib, then drifted off to sleep - in some strange positions. Then she would wake up and play and talk to herself until we went in to get her.
Then yesturday I left her in bed a little too long & she figured out that she can crawl out of the bed. So in she padded to our room - "Good morning Momma & Dadda". The same thing after her nap time yesturday - I was in the basement & by the time I got upstairs (I had listened to her for a little while) she wasbusy playing in OUR room. This morning she was up at 7am (normal wake-up time being 8-8:30)... I didn't hear her until she was standing in the doorway! So I guess it is time to start closing her door tight, and putting some books at her level as she is content to read! Until she learns to open the door.....we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
