Fish Creek & Bath Time fun

Bike Ride & Picnic

We enjoyed the beautiful weather on Sun with a bike ride & picnic in Fish Creek park. We live so close & yet have barely used the park in the last 3 yrs. That has changed now that Katie is here. The weekends are much better spent enjoying the lovely weather & each other then just working around the house - although sometimes that needs to get done too - life as a family is all about the balance!
The bike trailer is an adjustment for Katie. She doesn't mind her helemt but the trailer pushes it forward on her head & covers her eyes a bit, so we have to prop her up forward with a blanket. Otherwise she is so happy & chatters away while watching the scenery roll by.

Bath Time Fun

Katie LOVES, LOVES, LOVES bath time!! Bath time goes somthing like this:

1. She stands at the side of the tub and watches the water run.

2.You take her to her room, get her undressed.

3.The second she is naked she boots it, as fast as her little legs will let her, back to the tub, where you find her standing watching the toys float around until you pick her up & put her in.

4. Then she splashes and chatts away to her toys, poopingup & down like a jack in the box while you attempt to get her washed.

5.When she is all clean she puts her bath toys to bed & watches the water drain from the tub

Luckily, so far, when bath time is over she is content to get out & there are no difficulties. Usually Dadda gives her a bath & admittedly he ismuch more fun then Momma.
