The Mouland family's first Mother's Day

My first Mother's day - it has been surreal but wonderful. I am so very proud to be a mother and Katie & Bryan did a great job celebrating the day for me.

Katie gave me roses, a couple of "mommy" books (to read to her:) and a nice shawl to curl up in with a book & cup of tea. We went out for brunch - an experience that I will not forget - we'll leave it at that. I figure while Katie is not capable of cooking up Mother's day concoctions for breakfast going out the the way to go - no cleaning or cooking for anyone. There will be enough years to come with a kitchen full of dirty dishes and flour, needing attention after I have to eat peanut butter and M&M pancakes.
