Mouland Family: TEN months in!

Our baby girl is 10 months old today. Over the last few weeks Rachel has really begun to show her personality. She is just pint sized, but has a HUGE personality to match that huge smile of hers. She is weighing in at just 17lbs 3oz, and 30in long (10th percentile on the growth curve). But she is a clown and will do anything for a reaction...growl, make funny faces, bite you (this could be problematic), respond to requests for her to act like a circus monkey. She has the biggest belly laugh and a smile almost constantly plastered on her face. She knows when she doesn't like something though (foods come right back out if she does not approve). She loves her cuddles and can be carried around on my hip for hours, but is just as happy to play on her own or with others. However she has a radar for things she shouldn't have or do - stairs, fireplace, remotes, glass coasters, and anything small she can find and put in her mouth to carry around like a dog....if we get through the toddler years without a trip to emerge for her having swallowed something I will be amazed! She has mastered going down the stairs backwards and now cruises the levels of the main floor of the house at will. Sleep is, well it is...lets just say shift work and Rachel's sleep schedule are not going to make for a very well rested Mommy, we'll see if we can change this in the next 2.5 mths.
