Our little sweet pea is now seven months old. She is such a happy little girl, with a smile for everyone. We are starting to see more and more of her personality, and she is very social, a ham. She is also starting to express herself and now that she is moving she follows me around, tugging at my pant legs when I don't meet her needs fast enough. She and Liam are enjoying sharing their room now, but Liam is struggling with her ability to get to his "stuff". We are understanding that he doesn't want her always into his toys but expect him to replace any toy of his that he takes by giving her a toy of her own, and he is pretty good about it. Katie just wants to mother her and enjoys "watching" her while we accomplish tasks like cooking. With so many stairs in our house it is a challenge to supervise her sometimes so Katie really is a great help.
Rachel has been teething for a couple weeks, with a bulging upper gum, but it just will not come through. She loves giving sloppy open mouth kisses and is trying to wave. Sleep continues to be our biggest challenge with the shared room situation it is hard to let her fuss it out without waking anyone else up. She is also babbling and cackling up a storm. She continues to boot it around the house by crawling, and is trying to pull herself up, often getting into the hands & feet down, bum up position. Solids are progressing, albeit slowly, what she likes one day she does not like the next, but we continue to move forward. She has discovered the "other baby" in the mirror and likes to kiss, slap and yell at her.
