Mouland Family: Rachel's "Newborn" Shoot

We had family photos taken this past weekend as a birthday gift to me for my big 30, and I just realized that I never posted pictures from Rachel's "newborn" shoot back in early August. I say "newborn" (in quotations) because she was too old to actually get the cutesy newborn shots everyone ohhhs and ahhhs over, which was very disappointing to me. But my girlfriend has learned, within 24 hours of Rachel's photos that those cutesy shots need to be done within the first 10 days of babe's life - Rachel was 3.5 weeks old (& Lorie was in Disneyland when Rachel was born s this was not possible anyway). This is almost enough to make me want another one. But that is for another day. Anyhow we did get some nice pictures of us all, despite my family's continual inability to cooperate for these shoots - they are only important to me, this I have come to realize, but they are important enough to keep trying. I will post photos from this weekend soon (as it was my birthday my husband was cooperative, and the kids did try their best).
