Get Moving

The move has begun and we have been too busy to take pictures. Bryan and I have moved 6 loads (truck & trailer) of outdoor/shop stuff over the last 10 days. On Sat we had 5 trucks, 3 trailers, 1 minivan and my car - all loaded to the hilt and moved about 80% of the house stuff to the new house. Those boys worked hard loading and unloading! And the Aunties worked hard babysitting the kiddies! It went much smoother than I had thought, thankfully (I wanted to hire a moving company) vs. calling in favors and paying in food and drink. Today we took about a 7th load of house stuff and then all had a nap. We are living with just a few creature comforts and the basics in the old house this week. On Thurs Bryan will take the last of our belondings out to the new place while I work and the kids are at the babysitter's. Then we move into Dave's place for 6 nights. We have to be out of the ols house by 12 on Fri Mar 19, so I will spend Thurs night and Fri morning cleaning - why pay someone when I can work myself to death?

Thanks to Chris G, Chris M, Uncle Pete, Uncle Dave and Uncle Lee (and families for giving them up for the day) and Auntie Murlene & Auntie Bev - you all really made the day go very smoothly!

We officially move in to the new house on Wed March 24! We'll have 3 days to settle in - Wed, Thurs, Fri. I work on Sat and then on Sun it is off to sun, sand and surf for 12 days in Costa Rica (2 nights in Toronto). Oh I cannot tell you how much I look forward to relaxing and reading a book (Grandma willing that is).
