Happy June month all!
At his check-up last Monday Liam was a whopping 14 lbs 11oz, so he has likely surpassed the 15lbs mark as of today. He is 25.5 in long. He has rolls on his legs like we have never seen on our babies before. His cooing has turned to babbling and it is often hard to tell now if he is upset or just telling tales as it all sounds the same at times. He is getting 1/2 the way from back to belly with his diaper on, but when he is without the padding he gets about 2/3 of the way there so it won't be long. Toys have been discovered and quickly find their way to his mouth, well frankly everything finds its way to his mouth.
Although I can't feel or see any teeth I think they are starting to move around in there as he has been sucking so hard on his wrist that he has bruised it. His sleep has been all over the map. His 3 month growth spurt lasted weeks, then we went to Kelowna where his playpen was right next to my head so whenever he stirred I woke - we ended up about once per night and early in the morning. Now he is back to sleeping about 10 hours again.
Katie is busier than ever - she NEVER stops! I wish we could bottle her energy and sell it, or at least if I could have some. She fluctuates between being supremely independent and we are not allowed to help her with anything, to wanting to be carried and treated "like a baby".
She is looking forward to seeing Grandma and Grammy Mo in a few weeks and going on the "hair pain".
