Kelowna Wineries

My ONE and Only must while we were in Kelowna was to do some wine tasting and touring. As Bryan is not a lover of wine I waited for the Mahues to arrive to have some company while Bryan hung with Katie at the pool. We were on a tight schedule but made it 4 four vineyards/wineries in the Kelowna area (just the tip of the iceburg for the Okanogan region). All 4 had fantastic views over looking OKanogan Lake. It was great fun, Liam even enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to heading back in late July/August with my Mom.
Quale's Gate Estate Winery - lovely setting, okay wines (I'd drink them for sure but we didn't purchase here).
Mt Boucherie Estate Winery - very tasting wines, we all bought from here. The setting was nothing really special other than a nice picnic area in the orchard. The gentleman doing to tasting had the greatest personality and certainly knew his wines.

Mission Hill Estate & Winery - the architechture here was phenominal and the grounds beautiful. We did a tour and went down to their wine cellars, very cool.
Tasting time

Steve & Jess Mahue, my tour & tasting companions

Starting Liam's cultural upbringing early!

Little Straw Winery - interesting setting but the wines not so great (according to the Mahue's as I did not taste here)
