Liam is now 6 weeks old - WOW! We had our last checkup with our wonderful midwife today and we are both doing well. Liam is now weighing in at a hefty 10lbs 3oz, and 23in long - no surprise to us as he was stuck to me like glue for a few days last week - eating every 2 hours around the clock!!. He fell off the curve of his birth weight immediately, but is following his own curve very nicely now. This means that we are enjoying some of his very cute little boy clothes - thanks everyone:) Our only concern is that he has a strong prefernce to turn his head to the left, and his prefect little head is getting a little squish on the one side - so we have to force him to turn it the other way a bit more to counteract this.
He is a happy little fellow and gracing us with his smile quite regularly. He is also beginning to enjoy being in his bouncy chair a little more, like to talk to his "friends" on his mobile and is reaching for the fish on his playmat.

we'd love to catch up when you get back in town. I am so sad that he is already 6 weeks old - it goes so much faster the 2nd time around (just so you know). I hope you are enjoying your time at Casa.
