Results - Homemade Salsa!
Remember the 20+lbs of unripened tomatos we harvested late last month, well we've had success ripening them inside/outside, but off the vine. We harvested another 5+ lbs last week - the weight is totally a guess, we haven't actually weighed them but I think its pretty close - a LOT of tomatos from the 4 little plants we started with. So last night we set out on an adventure and made homemade salsa. We haven't tasted it with chips yet but our taste testing while we were cooking was approved by our tastebuds! We are pretty proud of ourselves - (maybe too much so). We are hoping to get a few more tomatos rippened up this week and make another batch this coming weekend for Christmas / hostess gifts.

Looks yummy, I'd love to get your salsa recipe! We only had a few tomatoes this year, but I'm hoping to have lots next year.
