We are...

...finally coming out and letting you know that we are expecting. At 18 weeks and feeling movement it is time to share - not with the world but with our friends. It has not been a secret but we have shared as we have had an opportunity to see people. It is now to the point where when others see me no words are necessary - so to save the uncomfortable moments while we decide how to share or you decide what to ask, I am putting it out there. We are excited, but nervous, however have no reason to believe that there is anything of concern with this pregnancy. I am generally feeling well - nothing more than "normal" pregnancy complaints, which I am very grateful to experience so I wouldn't really call them complaints. Our due date is February 8, just 3 days after Gabbi was born, which we take as a good sign. Katie is beginning to understand that "something" is going on in Momma's belly, and enjoys poking, prodding and touching it. We are trying to keep things in perspective and enjoy as much as possible, however we are not quite at a point where we think congratulations are in order - that time will come when this little one is crying in our arms.

Here is the information you requested ages ago. The midwives my friend used were Kristy LeBlanc and Joan Margaret Crossman, out of Birth Partnership. Their team now also includes Theresa ? and they are called Sage Passages. Looking forward to more updates!
