As summer draws to a close.......
We are trying to enjoy the last days of "summer vacation" to the fullest.The weekends are filled with BBQs and playdates (for Katie & I). In this busy time Katie teaches us a little lesson on how to enjoy the simple things in life - sliding with friends, playing in cardboard boxes (preferrably while being pulled around the house at breakneck speeds but an adult - this elicits bountiful squeals of laughter), and playing the the dog's water bowl.

That cardboard box is a great idea. I'm going to do that next time Chance is making his "I'm bored" sounds.
