Lighthouse at Fort Amherst - the fort was used to gaurd the harbour during the WWs
Old guns at Fort Cape Spear
Cape Spear - whale watching - there were about 8 whales of the coast, pilots & humpbacks. The boat in the background had a great day for watching - 3 whales made a triangle around it!
Bryan & Katie on Signal Hill
Bryan dipping his toe into the ocean at the most easterly point of North America - he couldn't (safely) get right to the ocean so this was a place the tide was flowing into
One of my fav pics - us at Cabot Tower, Signal Hill - where the first telegraph Signal was sent from (St John's)
The happy family
View of the city of St John's from Signal Hill - lovely

Bryan threw the girls into the pool to cool them off too - they weren't too impressed! (Blazer)

I had never been to any part of Nfld other then where Bryan is from so we (including Bryan's brother Brad) spent a night in St John's to see some historical sights & really enjoyed ourselves.

Between Camping, a wedding & getting ready to go east for 3 weeks we had a surprise, and great, visit from Bryan's aunt & Uncle who came to town to see their son for a month. Katie loved all the attention!
Northam Wedding
Between camping & leaving for holidays back east we attended our good friend's, Kevin & Aubrie's wedding. Justin was a groomsman & Katie was, unofficially, Jake's date - however he had a hard time sitting still while Mommy & Daddy had the spotlight so we never managed to snap a pic of the two of them together. It was a beautiful day and all went well for the happy couple.

Bryan & ICamping in Waterton Lakes July 2-6 2007
I think that this is now our favorite national park out here - it is so much quieter then most, with many fewer tourists. There are tons of great hiking trails and beautiful lakes. We wanted to head to Glacier in the USA but forgot the dogs' vaccination papers. Bryan & I are planning to head back in Sept for a weekend away.
Too young to ride the horses so we just had to pet them - but Katie LOVED it.
